This book was basically given to me as a surprise from my parents after facing months of bullying from my sorority for my political views.
I spent the past few weeks frustrated, depressed, (even feeling a little worthless due to the months of unfair treatment and bullying by my supposed sorority "sisters").
But, after reading this book, I have learned why I am in the fight and why I went into politics in the first place because I want to serve my country.
A while ago honestly, after being proudly involved with Turning Point USA, I saw a headline on the news about Charlie Kirk and Candace Owens basically being aggressively confronted by ANTIFA... Then, in 2018, I came across a shocking headline of a young man by the name of Hunter Williams being beat up for his Conservative viewpoints at UC Berkley. As someone who has been physically and verbally attacked for my views in the American education system, I was at a loss of words. In this moment, after seeing a fellow Conservative getting attacked on a College Campus, I was a sophomore in High School... I was at a very dark time in my life because I was getting bullied badly by a history teacher and my peers for being outspoken about my viewpoints. I looked at this News Story scared a little bit to even go to college, but because of Candace, I toughened up and decided to go through with my dream (which was to serve my country).
Reading this book has changed my perspective on many things (too many too list, do you want to be here all day? Probably not).
I don't care what your political affiliation is... READ. THIS. BOOK.
Because, if you are passing this book in a bookstore, this is why our country is so divided. Free speech applies on both sides, and learning both perspectives is very important.
I DON'T CARE IF YOU ARE DEMOCRAT OR REPUBLICAN, READ THIS BOOK. IT IS SO WORTH IT!!!
